Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? 4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. 5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? 6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. 7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? 8 Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
This verse deals with Lawsuits Among Believers!
Some people use this to justify judgeing others.
This does not say that we will study this passage the verse that is used out of context is highlighted in red above.
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you,
Notice shall (shall) judge the world?
That means in the future not now. We have not the right to judge now!
Let's look at some Matthew Henery's Commentary I will use other translations for clearer understanding.

When one of you has a complaint against another, how dare you go to court to settle the matter in front of wicked people. Why don't you settle it in front of God's holy people?
Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary
6:1-8 Christians should not contend with one another, for they are brethren. This, if duly attended to, would prevent many law-suits, and end many quarrels and disputes. In matters of great damage to ourselves or families, we may use lawful means to right ourselves, but Christians should be of a forgiving temper. Refer the matters in dispute, rather than go to law about them. They are trifles, and may easily be settled, if you first conquer your own spirits. Bear and forbear, and the men of least skill among you may end your quarrels. It is a shame that little quarrels should grow to such a head among Christians, that they cannot be determined by the brethren. The peace of a man's own mind, and the calm of his neighbourhood, are worth more than victory. Lawsuits could not take place among brethren, unless there were faults among them.

See when the saints are to judge are when they are in the kingdom.
Let me use logic how can you judge angels if had not even seen them?
So how can we judge now?

3. judge angels-namely, bad angels. We who are now "a spectacle to angels" shall then "judge angels." The saints shall join in approving the final sentence of the Judge on them (Jude 6). Believers shall, as administrators of the kingdom under Jesus, put down all rule that is hostile to God. Perhaps, too, good angels shall then receive from the Judge, with the approval of the saints, higher honors.

The judgement is not till the future!

This is all dealing with church disputes!
All that Paul was saying this passage was hey your going to judge the angels,and the world one day so should be able to take on something as simple as the problems in the church.

Instead, one brother goes to court against another brother, and before unbelieving judges, at that!
This is saying we should take care of are own business not to take it to unbelieving judges.
Can a non believeing judge sort out the problem in a church?
2 Corinthians 6:14

But yet this is generally true, that we ought rather to depart from our right, than try the uttermost of the law hastily, and upon an affection to revenge an injury. But the Corinthians cared for neither, and therefore he says that they must repent, unless they will be shut out of the inheritance of God

6:9-11 The Corinthians are warned against many great evils, of which they had formerly been guilty. There is much force in these inquiries, when we consider that they were addressed to a people puffed up with a fancy of their being above others in wisdom and knowledge. All unrighteousness is sin; all reigning sin, nay, every actual sin, committed with design, and not repented of, shuts out of the kingdom of heaven. Be not deceived. Men are very much inclined to flatter themselves that they may live in sin, yet die in Christ, and go to heaven. But we cannot hope to sow to the flesh, and reap everlasting life. They are reminded what a change the gospel and grace of God had made in them. The blood of Christ, and the washing of regeneration, can take away all guilt. Our justification is owing to the suffering and merit of Christ; our sanctification to the working of the Holy Spirit; but both go together. All who are made righteous in the sight of God, are made holy by the grace of God.
In behalf of the souls for whom Christ has died, who are in the darkness of error, it is enjoined upon all true followers of Christ to be a light to the world. God has done His part in the great work, and is waiting for the cooperation of His followers. The plan of salvation is fully developed. People's New Testament
6:11 And such were some of you. Some of the worst classes had been converted.
Ye are washed. Were washed, as in the Revised Version. These verbs are all past tense. The rite of baptism is probably referred to.
Ye are sanctified. To be sanctified is to be set apart to God.
Ye are justified. That is, their sins were blotted out and they were counted righteous. Sinners as they were before, the gospel had washed, hallowed, and justified them.
By the Spirit of our God. The work was consummated by the gift of the Holy Spirit (Ac 2:38).
In conclusion:
We are not the judgers now.We get that privledge when it is giving to us in the kingdom.
This passage talks about disputes in the church.
It follows up on how we used to be sinners but through the gopel we recieved grace and was baptised.
We must spread the gospel.We must not judge! There is still work to be done
